Immigration Mental Health Evaluations

Did you know?

Psychological evaluations provide evidence for your case to demonstrate how your mental health has been impacted.

If you submit a mental health evaluation, you have a stronger chance of winning your case!

Mental health evaluations for Asylum, VAWA, SIJS, U and T Visas, extreme hardship, and more.

I work closely with the client and the lawyer to ensure the strongest evaluation possible. I meet with each client at least two times to learn about the client’s history, immigration case, and mental health considerations.

I will write a professional, neutral, and unbiased evaluation. Clients who choose to add a mental health evaluation to the immigration case are more likely to have their case approved (of course, there is no guarantee of obtaining your visa).

I am fluent in Spanish; evaluations in Spanish can be conducted without the use of a translator. Shine the Light Counseling can provide a psychological immigration evaluation via telehealth to anyone residing in Maryland and in person at my office in Baltimore, MD.

The cost for the comprehensive evaluation is $1,000, which includes interviews, communication with your lawyer, and writing the evaluation. I accept payment plans so that the cost is not a barrier to your case.
